Little Creature

This little creature can choose to be free
Yet stays within the lines of captivity
It screams and cries for every beat
But it wrote its’ on rules, too late to cheat

Roll around, roll around in your own blood
Little creature, keep cutting until it makes a flood
Keep drinking that poison since you love the taste
Keep telling yourself you’re a waste, such a waste

The Man Who Sat

A man sat in front of a fire with his dearest friends
All he could think of was his urge to be alone
All he could look at was the glow of the fire
All he could wish for was for them to be quiet
Forever

A man sat alone, trying to lit a fire
All he could think of was his dearest friends
All he could look at was his bare hands
All he could wish for was to hear them call his name
Ever again

Question

Can you see beauty in black and white
Or do you need color to enjoy the sight
Is it all diamond or can you wear the simplest stone
Do you have to scream for help or can you handle it alone
Is it all about intoxication
What about your mind and your own inspiration
Could you live without your deity, your god
Does life need a purpose, can’t it stay mysterious and odd

Mystery Man

The mystery man
He's the dream I never had
I’ll hold on for as long as I can
Even if it looks bad
But mystery man
I may have erased you from my life today
Even if it was a long time since you've faded away
We could have been an army

Still

We’re sinking in sand while
Daylight is born
Sunrays burn my skin
And my peace is torn

A melody sung by
Lungs filled with dust
These hissing voices
Of sorrow and rust

And these confused creatures
Refuse to advance
Hindered by deep fear
We don’t stand a chance

Oh, Nine

You left a cloverfield in the meadow
The dye of love, lightened by sunray again
Still an eco of the songs that have been sung
But your voice has been forgotten
When heaven drew paintings
Those summer sunset evenings
To face endless roads
No comeback

Used to be my muse
We burned our fate with passion
The thought of conquering the world
And dedications to the future
Escaping to the island
But it’s all just a dream
When you realize you’re awake
And it creates a strange hole
When I think of it

Gone Enough

She was afraid to look into their eyes
Knew they saw right through her lies
Even crying was braver
Than her ridiculous behavior
Thought she could fool her own mind
Told herself she was an unwanted kind
But she’d always belong out on the road
Sat there for hours while her energy would reload
She came back whenever she was led astray
And learned to be closer while she was away
Every disappearance makes her stronger
She has to go back, she can’t wait any longer
