Broken Teeth

Don’t act so surprised
Or did I really have you fooled?
I should be an actress, I suppose
If I can fake it so good
Still, it pisses me off
Frankly, it’s ridiculous
How someone can be so clueless
I know I have a face of stone
But I’m not made of porcelain
With all these imperfections on my skin
This, you can’t ignore
So, for once, shut up and let me talk
Don’t pretend to be so shocked
Let’s rip the band-aid off
For once, just please
Let me talk about my insecurities
My stomach, thighs, and broken teeth
In the end, they’re all I have
So even if it goes on for a while
And I’ll still have my broken teeth
I’ll let go and I’ll smile
